Carrie & Thomas
We first met sometime in the seventh grade at Alamo Heights Junior School. The next year at the winter dance on December 10, 1999, we “officially” started dating. We continued to date throughout high school, and decided to risk a long distance relationship in college. The next four years were tough. Carrie went to school in Minnesota and Thomas in Texas, and both of us studied abroad at different times. We made it out alive, though, and wouldn't trade it for anything in the world.
On November 21, 2007 in the Parque María Luisa in Sevilla, Spain, Thomas got down on one knee and asked Carrie if she would marry him. Carrie’s reaction went something like, “Really‽ I mean… yes!”
After we graduated from college in the summer of 2008, we both moved to St. Louis, Missouri, where we will also return to after our honeymoon on the Riviera Maya.
